Overview
Meet Philomath Fire & Rescue District
Philomath Fire & Rescue serves the Philomath, Oregon community by delivering critical emergency response and public-safety education. With roughly 2,500 residents spread across a mix of rural and suburban terrain, the district must juggle lifesaving services alongside routine community programs—like CPR and first-aid classes—while operating on a tight municipal budget. After more than 2½ years on a cumbersome WordPress site, Philomath Fire & Rescue turned to Streamline to modernize its training registrations, shore up ADA compliance, and gain pricing flexibility that fits its lean staffing model.
Streamline Powers Training Enrollment & Compliance
Streamline’s turnkey event signup and payment modules transformed CPR and first-aid class registration from a manual tangle of spreadsheets and phone calls into a few clicks online. “The payment side works flawlessly,” Ashley Scott noted, “which takes some pressure off me because I can just use that site for a lot more things.” Behind the scenes, the platform’s automated PDF Scanner and real-time compliance dashboard flagged ADA issues in meeting packets that sometimes topped hundreds of pages. Rather than guess at remediation, Ashley and her colleagues received guided fix recommendations—and for the first time could share board materials with confidence that every citizen could access them.
Empowering Education & Accessibility
Streamline has enabled Philomath Fire & Rescue to focus on its core mission—delivering lifesaving programs and transparent public information—by handling the heavy lifting of event management and accessibility. When the ADA checker flagged compliance gaps, she recalls, “Streamline helped me with that,” as the support team guided her through each remediation step. This blend of intuitive self-service features and hands-on assistance has given Philomath staff the confidence and time to expand their programs and ensure every resident can access vital information.
