Streamline Marketing and Growth Manager

Join our local government focused division and help us grow!

Streamline builds compliance software for local government (mostly special districts and related organizations). We currently have two platforms: Streamline Web, a website tool helping over 160 agencies build and maintain a website that keeps them compliant with state and federal requirements in California, Oregon, Illinois and Florida; and our free Enterprise System Catalog tool, ensuring over 500 California local government agencies are able to comply with a state law added to the Public Records Act. We currently have no direct competition, and it’s time to ramp things up to grow our presence in this space.

We’re passionate about our community and keeping them compliant with ever-changing state and federal regulations. We work in partnership with the California Special District Association, the Special District Association of Oregon, the Florida Association of Special Districts, and other partners to build the tools needed to serve this market.

Your job will be to manage the marketing efforts of the company to help us reach our near-term goal of onboarding one new Streamline Web client per day, and our longer-term goal of expanding into new territories with additional offerings.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep our team organized and focused, coordinating and managing our various campaigns, conferences, and content schedule.

  • Collaboratively create and execute marketing plans in various states: this will include strategy all the way down to running and tracking campaigns, onsite events, and more.

  • Work with the Community Manager to configure and utilize Hubspot for website and campaign tracking and reporting.

  • Utilize Hubspot and/or Asana (we currently use both) for tracking marketing activities, assigning tasks, and ensuring campaign and conference items are completed.

  • Co-create processes for the handoff between marketing, sales, and onboarding.

  • Report weekly on marketing efforts, lead status, projections, and progress toward goals.

  • Potentially attend conferences, “know” the clients and prospects who will be there, promote the mission of the company.

  • Manage an outsourced resource (like Upwork for example) to update data on our districts based upon research you define and they complete.

  • Learn everything there is to know about the local government / special district market, to better connect with clients and support the business.

About you

  • You are extremely organized, and can keep a team of visionaries (including the founders!) on task so that goals and deadlines are met.

  • You have the marketing skills needed to tackle a challenging-to-reach market, with related experience and proven success in similar work.

  • You have experience with, or are able to learn, the technical ins and outs of Hubspot and all its products.

  • You want to join a team with unlimited potential and are excited to help Streamline conquer the special district space–gently, of course!

  • You are passionate about local government and what it can accomplish. (Bonus if you understand the challenges special districts face and are excited to be a part of our mission, where our commitment is to have their back.)

Sound amazing? Ready to reach out? If so, we’d love it if you’d apply, which you can do on our parent company’s site >
